Well, i woke up this morning, after dreaming of effects pedals all night, and realized my wife had agreed to a $50.00 present. i ran to find the phone book and i did. I called up all the music stores around town but most were all out. The parents probably didnt realize what a deal they had, either that or they figured,
"only the best for my child.".
last number on the list was Russos. i called them, talked to Ned and learned that they did infact have one of the pedals i was looking for. the Digitech deathmetal pedal. the alternative was the BOSS metalzone mt-2. so i said,
"how much is it?".
Ned said, "the deathmetal pedal is $49.99 and uh... ...oh and i was just told, we do have a used metalzone.".

alright, heres the thing: why, if he had just told me the price of the first pedal, wouldnt he follow up that last sentence with the price of the metalzone... must have been busy and distracting.

"how much is that one for?" said I, calculating the amount of money in my wallet.

Ned said, "$49.99, same price of the other one."

"WHAT!???????"

hell yeah cut to me walkin out of the store and smilling all the way home. all the way until it wrote this here all on the pretty newgrounds gold.
